Our Nannies
Spoon Full of Sugar Nannies are chosen for their professionalism and years of experience with children. All nannies have been through an extensive interview process, reference and criminal record checks, and are at least 19 years of age. They also have First Aid and CPR training.
Spoon Full of Sugar Nannies arrive with a Nanny bag of activities suitable for the age of child(ren) they are caring for. Our nannies can accommodate special needs children and a variety of languages including sign.
We work as a team and have regular meetings to exchange ideas for entertaining and caring for children in an individual or group setting. We are committed to ensuring the children have a great time in a safe and loving environment.

Hi, my name is Nancy Ball, owner/manager of SPOON FULL OF SUGAR Nanny Service. I am a mother of three and have hired caregivers for my own family's needs. I have owned and operated Spoon Full of Sugar since 2001, although we have been operating in Victoria since 1995. We are professional, licensed and insured.
I realize there is a need for reliable, safe and caring childcare whether temporary or longterm. Finding appropriate childcare can take considerable time and effort, and I want to provide a service and peace of mind to other parents... hence SPOON FULL OF SUGAR!

Rates
Hourly Rates$25/hr for 1-2 siblings
Add $1/hr for each additional sibling
Add $3/hr for each additional non-sibling.
4 hour minimum
Holidays:
Special rates for Dec 24, 25, 26, 31 & Jan 1 are double.
Other holidays are an additional $3/hr.
Our Nannies must be paid in cash.
Travel:
There is a $15 travel fee to Central Saanich, Brentwood Bay, Sidney, Metchosin, Goldstream Park, Sooke, and beyond.
Cancellations:
We ask for a minimum 4 hours of advance notice to cancel a booking, or a $50 cancellation fee is required. Cancellation fee is also required for cancellation of short notice bookings
Add $3/hr for each additional non-sibling.

For full-time permanent placement.
Add negotiated salary paid to the Nanny.
For temporary placement rates or holiday childcare, please call.

A one-night stay is $250 plus travel fee where applicable.

Groups (Conferences, Events)$43/child
Ages 24 months to teenagers
There is a 4 hour minimuum.
Each additional hour or portion is $7/child.
Add $15/child for groups that require more than two sitting sessions in the same day.
For children 0-24 months they will receive the care and attention of one Nanny; our hourly rates apply.
